Lesson #12
The Key To Marriage?
The Economy, Stupid!

My Sarah has 10 words that scare me to death:

“But we were in luck, ‘cuz it was on sale.”

Those 10 will freeze me in my tracks. Usually I just fall to my knees and breathe deeply until the room stops spinning.

Here’s how wifely sale logic works:

Recently Sarah bought a $1200 piece of jewelry. BUT we were in luck, ‘cuz it was on sale, and she got it for $600. Which means, in her mind, she spent $600, but she saved $600, therefore it was free.

Now we have a second problem. Remember that $600 we saved? What are we gonna spend that on?

Life gets complicated when you’re as lucky as us.
